Common FAQs

Q: Are my items cleansed before delivery?
A: No. Cleansing and purification of Feng Shui items are traditionally done by professional Feng Shui Masters, on an specially selected auspicious Day and Time. Other than the Masters, the 2nd best person to cleanse the items would be the owner himself/herself. I am neither a Feng Shui Master nor the ultimate owner of all the Feng Shui items sold here. Thus, a simple DIY 开光 method will be taught so that you can perform the cleansing and purification yourself.

Q: Do I need to do anything before I use the Feng Shui items?
A: Yes. These is what you can do to cleanse the item before using it.
1) Buy Pomelo leave and prepare a clean cloth and a small pail of clean water.
2) Soak the Pomelo leaves into the water.
3) Wet the cloth with the water soaked with Pomelo leaves.
4) Wipe the Feng Shui item 3 times using the wet cloth. While wiping, say some auspicious words.

Q: What is 开光 (Auspicious activation of Feng Shui items/placements)?
A: It is a process that involves selecting an auspicious Date & Time to cleanse and purify the Feng Shui items. This will enhance the effectiveness of the items.

Q: Is the process considered a religious activity?
A: No. Our 开光 process makes use of only Date and Time to cleanse the items. There is no religious prayers involved.

Q: Do you provide the 开光 services?
A: Yes, we do for a nominal fee of $18 per item. Upon payment, our Master will select an auspicious date and time to 开光. Thereafter, we will deliver the Feng Shui item to you immediately.
*Note that you will only be able to receive the items after the 开光 is done, which may take up to 2 weeks after your payment. Whenever there is an auspicious date after your payment, Master will do the 开光 immediately.

Q: What other services do you provide?
A: We also provide 开光择日 service for $38. Master will select an auspicious Date & Time for 开光 and also an auspicious Date & Time for the placement of Feng Shui items. All the Date & Time selection will be based on the user's Bazi (Date and time of birth).
